Education
Oleg Fishelev graduated from Ural Federal University (UrFU) with a degree in Economics and Management in Mechanical Engineering. In 2018, he enhanced his managerial skills by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo, gaining deeper insights into business strategy and leadership.
Career
Following his graduation from UrFU, Oleg joined Unimatic, a company founded by his father, Igor Fishelev. He began his career by working in various entry-level roles, which provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operations and the industry at large. His dedication and keen interest in business processes quickly propelled him to the position of Deputy General Director, where he played a key role in the implementation of digital technologies and automation initiatives, greatly improving the company’s operational efficiency.
In 2018, Oleg became the owner of Unimatic Group, taking over the leadership from his father. Under his guidance, the company not only maintained its competitive edge but also experienced significant growth. Beginning in 2021, Unimatic intensified its focus on import substitution by developing localized CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines. In response to geopolitical developments in 2022, the company shifted its partnerships from Europe and Japan to China, establishing a subsidiary in Dalian—Dalian Unimatic Trading Co. Ltd (DUT)—to strengthen its position in the Chinese market.
Today, Unimatic is a market leader in the import of machinery from China and continues to drive forward with innovative solutions in the mechanical engineering sector.
In his free time Oleg Fishelev indulges in his passion for technology by developing computer games using Unreal Engine, blending his business acumen with creative pursuits.
